My awakening didn't come with a manual — but that's true for almost every awakening soul in this era. In 2013 I learned muscle testing — simple yes/no answers from my own body and energy — and I started using it to do energy healing for myself, my family, and my clients. The results were staggering. It proved to me that anything is possible. For the first time I could get clear inner answers, and it was exhilarating… until those answers started contradicting the beliefs I'd been taught — by my community, my teachers, the whole system I trusted.

That's when I started wondering if I was crazy. For years I rubber-banded between doubting myself and choosing to believe what I sensed. There was no mentor to explain what was happening to me — it was just me, my soul, and eventually some of my guides and Mother Earth, teaching me through a ton of trial and error. And I did it in the middle of a real life — raising and homeschooling my kids, my husband leaving the corporate world to build something of our own, packing up and moving and starting a new life.

My path opened through nature. I deconstructed out of the monotheistic religion I was raised in largely because I kept meeting the divine everywhere — in the wilderness, in the wild. I felt the presence of Mother Earth, and she was more real to me than anything my church-guided practice had ever given me. That led me to the four elements, to animism, to paganism and the old ways — the ones we're taught are imaginary and pretend. They're not. I say that based on the results they've brought into my physical life, not just warm feelings of positivity.

For seven years my growth was slow. I was getting pieces, but never the full picture, and real-world results were few and far between. Then everything changed with one conversation. I met an experienced psychic medium and mentor who connected the dots, confirmed what I'd been sensing, and guided me to go deeper in ways I'd been afraid to even try. What hadn't shifted in seven years transformed in six months — I moved to my dream home in the forest, and grew a business that supports my family.
